Tips on How to Treat Acne Scars
One of the most devastating effects of having an acne problem is the physical scarring associated with serious acne problems. Even mild acne can leave scarring but it may not be as
bad as the more severe acne problems, however, it will leave scar nonetheless. The scar may heal over time but not all the time.
There are certain precautions you can take
to prevent acne scarring such the use of preper cleansing techniques. You must at all cost avoid giving in the temptation of popping the
pimple as it is a sure way of developing an acne scarring. But just doing these things does not guarantee that acne scarring will not be
developed. This is especially true in more severe types of acne where the lesions are on the skin for longer periods of time than in milder
forms. For cystic acne, the nodules or cysts can stay on the skin for days, weeks, or even months, and can leave behind very visible
scarring.
